 From the early design process, through many revisions, all the way to the setting of our logs, the entire Williams family treated us as if our project was their only one. Upon delivery and setting of our gorgeous logs, we realized that this home far exceeded our greatest expectations. We owe a special thanks to Eric Williams, our designer and confidant, who put his heart and soul into our custom project. Without you, Eric, our dream home could not have become a reality. Greatland Log Homes' motto, "building dreams is our business" certainly was true for us, and could read "building dreams is our entire family's commitment." After over two years of planning, wishing and hoping, it all came together the second week of January, 2006. As you are aware, Wallatolla went through many changes from start to finish, and at each turn, every member of your family was professional, caring and courteous. Working with you all, but especially you, Zane, who was my designer, was like a breath of fresh air. There are so many log manufacturing companies out there, we feel truly lucky to have found you. We were so gratified to know that we had chosen the right company for the tremendous task of fashioning our hand-scribed log home. There was not a single detail overlooked; nothing was left out. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Your family's "can do" attitude made everything from the initial design to the setting of the logs as easy...well, as easy as falling off a log! When I had questions, you answered them quickly and knowledgeably, and in such a positive manner that I was immediately set at ease. It was obvious that you cared as much about Wallatolla as Frank and I do. As New Yorkers, we had thought we had seen it all, but we were truly awestruck by how incredibly smooth the re-erection of Wallatolla went. All the many hours of planning and re-planning and "going back to the drawing board" and starting again, paid off when the logs arrived and were laid on the foundation. It literally took my breath away. The site and the weather gave us a few problems, but everything was dealt with in a professional, imaginative way. Work is progressing well on the house, and we can't wait for it to be done. Every time we go to visit, we are still awed by the sheer beauty of the log work, and my contractor is working hard to keep everything else on a par with the logs! It will be the most beautiful, satisfying home when it is all finished. I know that if we have any problems down the road that you will be there for us, helping us to figure out any difficulties. I have the utmost respect for and confidence in your company and your family. You have truly revived my flagging belief that people are good and do good, honest work for fair wages.
